Absolutely loved this demo and cannot wait for the full release! The artwork is beautiful, and the dark, underlying humour was right up my street! Great work!
It got even better. More writing with characteristic tension and wit in perfect balance, more gorgeous design work by Abby, more perfect voice performances by Nichole Goodnight and Johnny Sims. What more could you want?
I like how many options you have in this game, the art is stunning and amazing and since the whole game is VA it makes it much easier to play for streamers and non streamers
Loved it especially the arguments between the Narrator, Hero and "emotion" voice. Especially the more scared ones because i relate XD

And i'm curious if the choices we make will even be much more important. Like for example locking the princess away to try to make everyone happy would be led to a different path than letting her rot ^^
So the one pattern I've noticed *AND THIS IS SPOILERS*
Is that when you actually try to help her she only acts in self-defense, every other ending requires you to either attack or betray her. Also I'm a sucker for The Witch.
Played through it a couple days ago, only to find that there was a new demo- comparing them with a fresh memory, I can definitely see the improvements that were made, and the new material is just as great. The mirror is definitely intriguing...
Great Demo! Really like the voice acting, they really add A LOT to the experience and really deliver in those subtle ways that make the game so much more fun. Added the game to my steam wish list and can't wait for the full release!
probably the best choice based game I ever played in my entire life. Other choice-based games usually lead to the same path or have a limit, but this game seems like **it has endless possibilities!!** I'm into visual novels but having voice actors really bring the story to life, not a lot of visual novels do that.
If you are a YouTuber or any type of common player that don't feel like reading, I highly recommend this game. I can go on and on of how amazing this game is but for God's sake just play it for yourself!
As for the creator of this game I am waiting for the full release excitedly waiting (how I'm feeling) this is the biggest game coming out on steam!
Slay the princess is a delightful masterpiece and it is only the demo version! This is my new favourite game so I wholeheartedly recommend everyone to try it out.

Very interesting and I will follow this, however I will say I never had experienced frame drops on a VN before lol. And it's not like I have a weak PC. Disabling the wave effect fixes it but it takes a lot out imo
Gotta Say though I didn't have enough time to go through all the endings the 3 - 4 that I did see was just SO GOOD!! I absolutely loved this & I can't wait for the full release of this gem.
The game should have a fps limiter because it's consuming more resources than it needs, it's using 80% of my pc and it's too much for a 2D graphic novel game. It is very easy to implement, pls consider it ;)
Hi – as of the latest update, the framerate should be locked at at max of 30fps, and there have been numerous optimizations to the animations. That being said, the game runs natively at 1080p and uses layered animations to create the parallax effect when you move your mouse, so it's still going to be more hardware intensive than your average VN.
To make things more accessible to players, we also added an animation toggle in the preferences section of the game that can let you swap those animations out for still images, which reduces the resource load to be completely negligible.
I've been going into it again and again, and I've been having a great time just seeing how many options and alternatives are crammed into this small demo. I'm really excited to see what comes in the future!

Ideal romance story.
I really liked 'the tower' and 'the prisoner'. And all the other ones were great too. And i am not even that much into horror. But this is good stuff.

Unique game concept, awesome art and sound design.
Very fresh and artistic horror vision.

What operating system are you on?
windows 7 ultimate 64bit
Have you tried running as an administrator? And are you running the correct executable? (The .exe rather than the .sh or .app?)

the problem is not that you didn't put a 32bit and 64bit separated? or i don't know...
